Released at the Llechfan Garden Railway Open Day, July 2026.This model is our take on the Hughes built, Corris Railway 0-4-2ST as currently running on the TR.
 
3D printed in filament, resin, and laser-cut acrylic.
Codenamed ALBERT, it comes complete with a 3-6volt motor, nylon worm gears, 32mm printed wheels on 1/8" stainless steel axles, the necessary metal stock, nuts, screws & washers required to build the model in the photos.
Also included in the kit is a micro slide switch (with a corresponding hole under the saddletank and a selection of detail parts.
 
Access to a small "bench vice" is a MUST, to build this kit.
 
Building instructions are included with the kit.
 
Although not for beginners, the kit is reasonably easy to construct and requires basic tools, glue, paint and batteries to complete.
There is adequate room in the boiler for 4X AA batteries and your choice of RC unit.
Batteries, RC or any electronics (except micro switch) are not included in the kit.
